CAPTAIN BEERBEARD 

AND THE HELL'S MARY

The evil and always loud, Captain Beerbeard, is the arch-enemy of the Halfling adventurer Tommy Tallfellow! The two have never gotten along and their feud even went as far Tommy being taken hostage by the cutthroat pirate (*see DragonDark Archive Trilogy Book 2: The Yellow Orb.) Were it not for the crew of Captain Hellcat's being stranded at sea by the evil green dragon Sarsethok while she was stuck landside battling the undead along with Kargin and Erron, Tommy would likely be in Davey Jones' locker! 

A mutiny on Beerbeard's ship led by Tommy's fellow prisoners, Aldion Stormsky and Turk'en (along with a little time magic from the wizard, Jaysil) freed Tommy from the evil pirate, saving his life.

Captain Beerbeard is not a dwarf, but is often confused with one, being so short and rotund. He is constantly drunk and is currently missing an eye due to an accident between himself and Tommy and a misplaced oar.

The pirate's ship, The Hell's Mary, is a fast seafaring vessel, capturing multiple hot air balloons and blimps, strengthening Beerbeard's fleet. The ship is a war cruiser, adorned with so many cannons that most find it difficult to believe the ship can even float! It has two decks, a main one, and a lower one. The inner hull has multiple sleeping quarters and a brig. Past crewmates included Sawtooth, Sancho, and Borek the Minotaur (*see DragonDark Fables: The Minotaur's Path - Glory Ax.)

Currently, Captain Beerbeard is in hot pursuit of Aldion, Turk'en and the others and were last spotted near the northwestern city of Port Io.
